Hi, I’m Pascal — a French photographer based in Brisbane, where I’ve been living for over 10 years. I’m currently finishing my Diploma of Photography. My work often explores themes around emotion, identity, and how people present themselves to the world.

 

Using light, colour, and timing to capture something real, even if it's subtle or messy, is what particularly draws me to portraits and studio work. I enjoy crafting images with a quiet yet layered quality, where the surface elements hint at a deeper story beneath. Lately I’ve been experimenting with gels, movement, and slow shutter techniques to bring more mood and meaning into my work.

 

For me, photography is about noticing — moments, details, or feelings that are easy to miss. Through each image, I’m trying to build something honest, and hopefully something that resonates with others too.
